How we use cookies and similar technologies on this site.

Last updated: May 2026

This page explains how Velon Energy uses cookies and similar technologies on velonenergy.com.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, and to provide information to the site owner.

How we use them

We aim to keep this site as light as possible. We do not currently use cookies for advertising, profiling or third-party tracking. We may use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — to allow the site to function correctly (for example, session management).
  • Analytics — with your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, which sets first-party analytics cookies (for example _ga). These load only after you accept via the cookie banner, are configured with IP anonymisation and no cross-site tracking, and are not set if you decline. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Managing cookies

You can reopen the consent banner at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page. Most browsers also allow you to view, manage and delete cookies through their settings. You can block cookies entirely, though some parts of the site may not work correctly if you do.

Third-party services

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google may receive your IP address as part of this). When you book a call, the link opens Microsoft Bookings (Microsoft 365); when you send a project brief, it is handled by our form provider. We do not embed third-party advertising or social-media tracking pixels. A full list of the providers we use is in our privacy policy.

Updates

This policy may be updated occasionally. Significant changes will be noted at the top of this page.
